Susan is teaching me how to make THE face. She is much better at it than I!
We
woke about 10:00 and decided on breakfast in Hampstead where we found Fitzroy Patisserie which had as delicious pasteries as we ever found in Paris - we discovered they had a French baker - and Susan took me to see her favourite tree in all the world - and as she is very travelled I was impressed. However, as magnificent a tree as it was it seemed to give off a very sad energy - strange but beautiful!
Sue took me to Slade University and gave me a grand tour. It made me want to paint something other than walls! I met her lovely friend Cici and saw the birds with skeleton feet.
In the afternoon we made it in time for posh tea and fancy cucumber sandwiches. We had lots of laughs with Kjartan and then a walk through Kensington Park before it got dark. We managed a pint at Susan's neighbourhood pub and then a delicious Indian vegetarian dinner back at the flat while watching Law And Order, sharing pictures, and organizing for my flight home tomorrow. Cable is free in London but each household has to pay a heafty tax to have a TV in use in their home but luckily students are not taxed.
Here we are in Susan's neighbourhood pub - they with their beer and I with my perrier water. It just looks like beer.

Are you standing in front of the Tardis?
ReplyDeleteI see quite a few silly faces.
